SETAREH SHAHBAZI was born in Tehran/Iran in 1978 and moved to Germany in 1985.

From 1997 to 2003 she studied Scenography and Media Arts at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung in Karlsruhe. The artist lives and works in Berlin.
